Haley Moore from, Lejeune High School, Camp Lejeune, NC, was a local winners of the 2020 Fleet Reserve Association Americanism Essay Contest and presented a check at the Branch 208 monthly meeting held on 11 February 2020.
Applicant must be in junior high or high school (grades 7-12). Applicant must write an essay of no more than 350-words on a selected topic. Applicant must be sponsored by a branch of the Fleet Reserve Association, a unit of the Ladies Auxiliary or a Member-at-Large to enter.
FRA's Americanism Essay Contest is open to all students, grades 7 through 12, including those who are home-schooled. Students are invited to submit a 350-word essay through an FRA member or local FRA branch before the December 1st deadline. Local winners are forwarded for competition at the regional level and regional winners compete for national prizes. The grand national winner will receive.
